Tile Backer Thermal Insulation Boards

Tile Backer Thermal Insulation Boards are available in 6mm, 10mm, 20mm, and 30mm thicknesses, designed to both insulate and resurface walls and floors effectively.

These boards are the preferred choice for many professionals working with Underfloor Heating (UFH) systems and Wet Room installations. They are versatile and can be tiled, plastered, or rendered over, providing a durable, high-performance solution.

For installations on over boarded or plywood subfloors, the Tile Backer Boards should be securely fixed with Cement Board Washers and appropriate screws (maximum 300mm centres).

When attaching the Tile Backer Insulation Boards to a concrete floor, they should be glued down using Flexible Tile Adhesive, in accordance with modern British Standards (BS 5385-1: 2018).
